Special Programs
The library moved into its new facility on June 1, 1998. The
former armory building was reconstructed to house the public library as well
as ten luxury apartments for senior residents. This dual use of a historic
building has proved to be a unique and complimentary project. The use
of wood, iron railings, and a deep red carpet enhance the art deco design
of the library. This project is a "must see" for visitors to the Dawson
community.
The Dawson Public Library is a member of the Pioneerland Library System.
The system card catalog can be accessed here.
