Tim's Food Pride Appreciation Lunch-11 a.m.-1 p.m.

Minnwest Bank Kid's Treasure Hunt and Root Beer Floats - 5pm to 6 pm at the Dawson Swimming Pool Parking lot  located at 123 1st Street.  Age Catagories 1 to 3 years, 4 to 6 years, and 7 to 10 years.  For more information visit at www.minnwestbank.com  

Baseball Merchant’s Night
5 p.m.-DB 7-8th Grade Dirt Devils: Dawson 1 vs. Dawson 2

8 p.m.-Dawson Drakes host Minneota Mudhens   Both Games played on Nelson Field.  Merchant Giveaways throughout the Drakes Game.

LQP Co-op Oil Company Root Beer Floats - 11 a.m.-4 p.m.- in front of the Shop/Office

JMHS KIDS TRIATHLON/OBSTACLE COURSE- Due to the Weather it has been moved to Stevens Elementary.  Pleae use the old school office doors.  Registration is at 5:00pm.  Competition for Kids age 5-11.  Cost is $10/participant.  All participants will receive a goodie bag and t-shirt.  Please visit www.jmhsmn.org for more information.

Riverfest Kickball Tourney

Games begin at 6 pm at Prestholdt Fields.  Entry is $50 per team.  1st place $150 - 2nd place $75 - 3rd place $50.  Contact Keith Abraham at 320-226-0685 to register.

Teen Dance with Live Music Featuring  "The Stitches Band"  in the City Building starting at  8:00 pm. - 18 years and under Pop provided by LQP Co-op Oil Co.

Greater Community Credit Union 18-hole Golf Tourney 12:30pm. Tee off, bring your own 4 person team, cost $35/person. Must register with Josh, 769-2908.

Canoe Races-3 p.m.- 2-person teams. Registration is a Riverfest button.  Three Divisions:  Grade 5-8; Grade 9-12; 18 and older.  Prizes awarded in Chamber Bucks.  Meet at the walking bridge dock.  Canoes provided.  Lifejackets required. Coordinated by Greg Wyum, 320-226-0229.

Co-Ed Slow-pitch Softball Tournaments - Men's & Co-ed Tourney at 7 pm at Prestholdt Fields. $100 Registration fee.  100% payout.  Dawson Fire Department Beer Gardens open during games.  Contact Josh Lanphear at 320-841-1310 to register.

Baseball Game -  Drakes vs Appleton "A's" at 8:00 pm.  at Nelson Field.

  •   PBS Documentary Screening "Minnesota Alt Meat"  following the Gnome Unveiling.  View the half-hour television special airing nationwide on the World Channel.  Learn how the people of Dawson have been on the front lines of meatless meat since the 1950's!

Fishing Contest- 8am-2pm at Riverside Park,  Registration fee is a Riverfest Button.  Fish on the LQP River and bring your catch to Riverside Park at 2 pm Saturday to be weighed with Terry & Jeri Popma. Prizes - $25 Bonus Bucks (1 prize per winner)  Largest Walleye, Largest Northern and Largest Catfish Coordinators:  Jeri and Terry Popma 320-226-9735

JMHS Color Run - 7:30-8:15 am registration.  Race Starts at 8:30 am at City Hall.  For Ages 12 and up.  $20/participant.  All participants will receive a t-shirt and post-run hydration.  Please visit www.jmhsmn.org for more information, starting point and route updates.

Kids Pedal Pull - 9:00-9:30am check-in on Main Street.  For ages 3-11 years old.  Come check out the farm equipment as well.  Sposored by Titan Machinery

3-on-3 Basketball - at Swimming Pool Park basketball courts.  Registration at 9:30 am with tournament to start at 10:00 am. $20 per team

Gnome Painting - 9 a.m. - 12 p.m. Under red awning on Main Street

Dawson-Boyd Band Fundraiser - 10am-3pm  There will be  Children's Carnival, Cotton Candy, Bounce House, Silent Auction, Bake Sale,  & Dunk Tank.  New this year - Bingo!

Gnomes Need New Homes - 10 a.m. - 3 p.m. - At The Swimming Pool Park.  DB Arts Association's gnome-pull fundraiser.  Come Roll the Dice ($25/roll), pick your gnome and take it home.  Each Gnome is accompanied by a gift/gift card.

Riverfest Craft, Vendor, & Flea Market- 10 a.m.-3 p.m. at the Swimming Pool Park.  Exhibitors are welcome!  Bring your tables, and chairs for more information or to reserve a spot call Pat @ 320-226-0530.  Right now we have 60 vendors with papparazi, Tupperware, Thirty one bags, pampered chef, tastefully simple, metal arts, wood art, gnomes, diamond arts, sewing, crochet items, Karma Korn and more, still room for more and a must visit!

DBAA Family Entertainment- "The Bubbler" (Family Event) FREE! 1:00pm at the Swimming Pool Park Presented by the DB Arts Association.  Big Bubbles, small Bubbles, bubbles inside bubbles!

DBAA presents "A Tribute toThe Carpenters" - 7pm at DB Memorial Auditorium.  Aimee Lee and the Superstars present a stunning tribute to the timeless music of the Carpenters.  Presented by the Dawson Boyd Arts Association.  Reserved Seating. Legion Pancake Feed- Chris Cakes - 9am-12:30pm @ Hilltop Bar & Grill & Event Center Sponsored by the American Legion. $12 person (5 yrs & under FREE) All You Can Eat!  proceeds will stay local.

Men's Slow-pitch Softball Tournament - starting at 10am at Prestholdt Fields

Antique Tractor, Car, & Motorcycle Display
10am at Vetran's Park. Exhibitors welcome. Door Prizes and Awards for top entries.  Food Vendors available on site Contact John Harker at 320-226-3144.

Ecumenical Church Service in the Park
11am at Vetran's Park.  Bring your blankets or lawn chairs and enjoy fellowship in the park. Offering to go to "Backpack for Jacks" meal program for children and area food shelf.  Coordinated by Dawson-Boyd Ministerial.

Tablescape Tea - 3 - 5 p.m. at Dawson City Building.  Get Entertaining ideas and vote for your favorite display.  $10 Admission includes refreshments and commemorative booklet.  Sponsored by the DB Arts Association.

Riverfest Grand Parade
2pm. Line up Starting @ 1pm.  Line up at the Golf Course parking lot.   Please check the Dawson Riverfest Facebook Page of parade route.  No registration required.  Coordinated by the Dawson-Boyd Police Department

Golf Association 3 person Golf Scramble- 3 pm - 3 person, par 3 golf tournament (after the parade) Hosted by Dawson Golf Association.  Cash Raffle drawing at 5:30 pm.  (Need not be Present to win) Dawson Golf Course 1300 Walnut Street.
